Update April 2019Dr Ming Wei Goh is a Dental Magician 🦷🎩Here’s the why of it:Over a number of appointments, Dr Ming Wei replaced my 30 year old left-lower-back bridge that had finally failed. Since it would cost serious money to follow the usual process by also replacing my ‘opposing’ denture, the major challenge was for the new bridge to also fit with my existing denture.As a bad bonus, both of my bridge’s anchoring teeth were compromised and needed considerable work. To make matters worse, even with a protective temporary bridge, the unexpectedly fragile front anchoring tooth broke off between appointments – and this was AFTER the original bridge and denture moulds had been made.😕After discussing the options with me, Dr Ming Wei solved this dilemma with a root canal filling on the broken tooth, inserting a fibre pin to extend it so he could build a new tooth, and then the really tricky part; free-hand shaping the top of this reconstructed anchor tooth to fit the existing socket for the new bridge. 😲With his excellent professional skills, great support team and modern tech, this very difficult piece of work worked out as well as it possibly could for me – both dentally and financially! 😁Yep; too much detail 😏 but you get the idea: Dr Ming Wei really is an honourable Dental Magician 💫💥2017 ReviewFrom their respectful reception through to the Dr’s careful investigation and completely modern treatment (with supporting information and options at every stage), to payment (competitive and fair) and then professional followup; Dr Ming Wei Goh and his team at Mokoia Road are simply excellent.I thoroughly recommend this great dental practice in Birkenhead, even to the most discerning and perhaps reluctant person in Auckland who suspects they should be looking for the best possible professional care for their teeth; whether remedial or progressive.p.s.
